The immigration process take between 6 months and 3-4 years, depending on many factors. Here, I give you some tips and tricks to speed up the immigration process in Canada.
- Obviously, the first trick, or rather advice is DO NOT FORGET any paper. If you miss a paper you may lose a lot of time, I experimented that with the Government of Quebec, you miss a paper, and you lose 1 to 2 months.
- If you live in Canada as a student or temporary worker, this will significantly speed up the procedure, to give you an idea, it takes 1 year for a worker in Canada to get his immigration papers but 2-3 years if he lives outside of Canada.
- Family reunification further accelerates the time of immigration, because in fact, a person already Canadian or immigrant will have to take care of you, which greatly accelerates the process, even if the applicant is outside Canada, the time of 2-3 years falls to 6 months and even less!!
- If you have a contract in hand or a promise of employment by a Canadian employer, you can have a huge acceleration of your file and get your immigration very quickly (6 months or less).
- If you work in Canada or you are studying in Canada before submitting your application, ask your employer or your college professor (supervisor if you make a 3rd cycle diploma) to submit a letter to the Government of Canada, this will greatly accelerate the processing time of your request. It goes from 1 year to 6 months or less. Unfortunately, a malicious person who knew this did not share this information with me when I was in Canada, my application took 1 year 3 months, hers took only 6 months!
With all these tips in hand, I wish you good luck in your procedures, it requires patience and organization, you'll end up getting your landed immigrant card.
